Tia Scott is an OSU Athletic Marketing Coordinator for Football, Women's Basketball and Softball. A name familiar to the Cowgirl basketball squad, Tia Scott will rejoin the program for the 2007-08 season as its marketing and promotions coordinator.
As a student at OSU, Scott worked for three years as a manager for the women¹s basketball program and completed an athletic marketing internship with the POSSE office as well.
Upon receiving her bachelors of science degree in public relations in 2004, Scott served as an intern for the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas before accepting a position as the director of public relations for Diversity In Promotions in Dallas.
In addition, she has worked numerous events, including the Big 12 Men¹s Basketball Championship, the NCAA Men¹s Basketball Tournament and the NCAA Women¹s College World Series.
A native of Oklahoma City, Scott graduated from Millwood High School in 1999. The daughter of Edgar and Judy Scott, she has one brother, Edgar II (Deuce), and enjoys working out, playing basketball, swimming, horseback riding and scrap booking in her spare time.
