STILLWATER, Okla. Â Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will travel to Tulsa this weekend to compete in the Tulsa Hurricane Invitational. The event will be held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the TU campus.
Cowgirl head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski, who is now in his 19th season at Oklahoma State, says that he is ready to see his teams in action as they prepare for some big events coming up later in the fall schedule.
“With it being the first event of the year, we are very anxious to see our new girls in action,” sais Lubicz-Majewski. “Our girls have been working hard the last few weeks and we are ready to see how that work will pay off. This weekend will serve as a great warm-up for some of the tougher events we have coming up in October.”
The Cowgirls will be joined by Tulsa, Kansas State and Arkansas for the three-day competition with the first match beginning Friday at 10 a.m.
