Scott Named to All-National Pro Fastpitch Team

The single-season and career record holder for stolen bases at Oklahoma State, Scott has blistered the professional ranks as well, establishing a league record with 34 stolen bases in 37 attempts during the regular season for the New England Riptide. The rookie outfielder also led the league in runs scored with 33.
A native of Enid, Okla., Scott had 51 stolen bases during her final spring in a Cowgirl uniform, leading the nation. She was named first-team All-Big 12 by the conference coaches.
Scott has been the offensive sparkplug for New England, batting .327 with a .457 on-base percentage, the third-best average in the league. Her 25 walks ranks fifth.
Scott has paced New England to a 27-17 record and third-place finish in the league. The Riptide enter the playoffs this weekend and will play the Akron Races in the first round of a four-team, double elimination playoff on Friday in Kimberly, Wis.
