Kim started 99 games in two seasons for the Orange at first base and has a .340 career batting average with 96 hits in 282 at-bats. She holds the Syracuse school record for career on-base percentage at .433 and was a power hitter as well, sporting a .504 slugging percentage.
As a freshman, Kim was named to the 2006 NFCA/Louisville Slugger All-Northeast Region second team and was listed All-Big East third team.
Kim is an excellent student as well. She was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District first team last season with her 3.96 grade point average in psychology and political science.
Originally from Boulder, Colo., Kim joins seven other newcomers to the Cowgirl squad this season. Coach Wieligman has four position starters returning as well as Anna Whiddon returning in the pitching circle.
