Softball Adds JUCO Outfielder

Oklahoma State head softball coach Rich Wieligman announced the signing of Odessa Junior College outfielder Breana Casaus to a National Letter of Intent, it was announced today.
Casaus is the second JUCO player Wieligman has signed to an NLI in the late signing period. Infielder Jessica Meza also signed from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.
Casaus is a prototypical leadoff hitter as she leads the Wranglers with a .482 average, and she set a National Junior College Athletic Association record with 87 stolen bases this season.
The Bloomfield, N.M. native was named first team all-conference as a freshman when she hit .344 and stole 32 bases.
Casaus will arrive on campus in the fall and be eligible for the 2008 spring season.
