Six Cowgirls Earn Academic All-Big 12 Honors

The Big 12 announced the Academic All-Big 12 team with six
Hoppock was named Academic All-District VI last year. The senior from
Three Cowgirl seniors were named to the Academic All-Big 12 second team. Shanel Scott and Courtney Totte were both named to the second team after being named first team All-Big. Shianne Cruce also earned second team honors.
A player must compete in at least 60 percent of the team's schedule and maintain a 3.20 grade point average for first team or 3.0 for second team honors. Seniors who have spent at least two years on campus and meet all requirements except participation are also eligible. Students in their first year of academic residence are not eligible for academic honors, which applies to freshmen and trannsfer students.
