Lindberg Garners National Honors

Lindberg won the individual championship at the NCAA West Regional last week, leading the Cowgirls as they tied for the team title in St. George, Utah. OSU tied Stanford for first place, two strokes ahead of top-ranked Arizona State.
Currently ranked ninth in the Golfweek.com individual rankings, Lindberg currently owns the school record for both single-season stroke average and career stroke average at 73.03 and 73.98 strokes per round, respectively. She shot a 68-68-70 for a three-day total of seven-under-par 206 at the West Regional, tying for the best three-round total in school history.
The sixth-ranked Cowgirls travel to Daytona Beach, Fla., next week to compete in their seventh-consecutive NCAA Championships. The tournament will begin on Tuesday and end on Friday with 18 holes played on each day.
