Mallorie Underwood, Amanda Johnson, Karin Kinnerud and Pernilla Lindberg, were all named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team. Johnson and Kinnerud were the only Big 12 golfers nominated with a 4.0 grade point average.
Underwood, a senior from Montgomery, Texas, is majoring in accounting. She has competed in the last 35 tournaments dating back to the Big 12 Championships her freshman year. Johnson, a sophomore from Jenks, Okla., is majoring in accounting as well.
Kinnerud and Lindberg are both sophomores originally from Sweden. Kinnerud, from Norköpping and Lindberg, from Bollnäs, are both majoring in international business.
Oklahoma State tied Oklahoma and Texas A&M for the most golfers listed on the first team. First-team members consist of those golfers who have maintained a 3.20 or better grade point average and who have participated in 60 percent of her team's scheduled contests.
