Totte singled to lead off the seventh, and she scored from second base when Sanchez singled up the middle. It was the second time this season Sanchez won a game with an RBI in the seventh inning. She also doubled home the winning run to defeat Texas-San Antonio, 7-6, back on Feb. 10.
OSU went back over the .500 mark at 14-13, while Wagner dropped to 1-2 on the season.
OSU jumped out quickly on Wagner with two runs in the first inning, followed by a three-run second. Sanchez doubled home a run in the first, while Shianne Cruce connected on her first home run of the season in the second.
Jessica Hoppock could not make the lead stand as the Seahawks tied the game with three runs in he fourth and two more in the fifth. Victoria Batistelli tied the game with a two-run homer.
Chelsey Barclay relieved Hoppock and limited Wagner to just one hit over the next 1.2 innings. She earned the win as Sanchez came through with a clutch RBI in the top of the seventh inning. Anna Whiddon then came on to record the final two outs and pick up her first save.
Sanchez finished the game going 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Shanel Scott and Totte both added two hits. Totte is hitting .500 (24-for-48) with seven doubles, four home runs and 20 RBIs over her last 17 games.
Oklahoma State returns to action at 3 p.m. against tournament host South Florida. The Bulls are currently 17-8 on the season.
