Cowgirl Golfers Finish Fourth at Regional Challenge

Cowgirl sophomore Pernilla Lindberg shot a 68 during the final round and moved up 20 spots to tie for runnerup honors. She finished just one stroke behind individual champion Misun Cho of Pepperdine, who paced the Waves to the team title as well. Lindberg had six birdies and three bogeys during her final round, and recorded the second-lowest individual round of the tournament.
OSU sophomore Karin Kinnerud finished her tournament with a one-over 72 and tied for 20th place individually. Freshman Sarah Bradley shot an even-par 71 and moved up 12 spots on Wednesday to a tie for 23rd place. Seniors Candie Herrera and Mallorie Underwood tied for 47th place individually.
Eighth-ranked Pepperdine won the team title by nine strokes over second-place Arizona State, the No. 2 team in the country. Florida finished third with a 901, three strokes better than the Cowgirls' 904. Arizona rounded out the top-five teams with a 907.
Oklahoma State will next compete in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, Feb. 23-25, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
