Totte Selected as Big 12 Player of the Week

Totte began the week with a hit against Wichita State to extend her hitting streak, and then she went on a tear against the Toreros. Against USD Totte went 8-for-9 with seven extra base hits. She had three home runs and four doubles and drove in 10 runs to lead the Cowgirls to a three-game sweep. She had a slugging percentage of 1.833 for the week.
Totte is currently riding a nine-game hitting streak and leads the team in the triple crown. She is hitting .429 on the season with nine home runs and 43 RBIs.
Oklahoma's Samantha Ricketts shared the award, while her teammate Lauren Eckerman earned Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.
Oklahoma State hosts Drake in a double header this afternoon at Cowgirl Stadium beginning at 5 p.m., before heading to Tulsa for a game on Thursday. The Cowgirls begin Big 12 play this weekend when Kansas comes to Stillwater.
