Cowgirls to Face San Diego in Three Game Set

Oklahoma State's softball team returns home to face the University of San Diego tomorrow at Cowgirl Stadium at 7 p.m.

The two teams are scheduled to play three games as they return to the diamond on Saturday for a double header beginning at 1 p.m. OSU was originally scheduled to host the OSU Invitational this weekend, but it was canceled before the season started.

OSU is 15-16 on the season after losing to Wichita State on Wednesday night. Courtney Totte is riding a six-game hitting streak and leads the team with six home runs and 33 RBIs.

Totte needs just one run to reach 100 for her career. She will join teammate Shanel Scott and Cowgirl legend Jamie Foutch as the only players with 100 career runs scored.

The Toreros come into the weekend with a 12-10 record. USD is coming off of a pair of wins over Fairfield on Wednesday. San Diego is led offensively by Virginia Fritsch who leads the team with a .414 average.
