The Cowgirls loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the seventh inning, but Katelyn Bright popped up and left OSU's RBI leader, Courtney Totte, in the on deck circle.

The Shockers put more pressure on the Cowgirls with two more runs in the fifth inning. Cynthia Verhulst had an RBI single and Erin Peters plated a run on a groundout to put WSU up 4-0.
The Cowgirls scored their lone run in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly by Kim Kaye. It was all they could manage as OSU failed to come up with the clutch hits.
Totte singled in the first inning to extend her team high hitting streak to six games. Shanel Scott also hit safely in six games earlier this season. It was OSU's only hit until Shianne Cruce singled in the seventh inning.
Jessica Hoppock started the game and went the distance for her 83rd career complete game, just two shy of the school record held by
OSU returns home to host
