Big 12 Rivals to Compete this Weekend

Oklahoma State's equestrian team, which has been idle for the past month, will take on Big 12 rival Texas A&M on Saturday at the Animal Science Arena. The start time for the show is 9 a.m.
The Cowgirls (6-4) upset the Aggies (8-1) in College Station earlier this season. It was a close match in which OSU won by 1.5 points.
Saturday's competition, weather permitting, will have the use of two arenas. Starting off the morning will be equitation over fences in the indoor arena and horsemanship in the outdoor arena. Once those events are finished, reining will be held indoors and equitation on the flat will be held outdoors.
In each of the four events, there will be seven riders from each school competing for points. In equitation over fences, seniors Paige Hortman and Caitlyn Roberts, juniors Bailey Mahoney and Natalie Chappell, sophomore Jaclyn Osterstock and freshmen Ally Blais and Devon Smithburg will be representing the Cowgirls. Riding for the Cowgirls in equitation on the flat, will be juniors Michelle Woolschlager, Brittany Meyers and Mahoney, sophomores Charlotte Collingsworth, Samantha Collingsworth and Sarah Summers and Blais.
Riding for the Cowgirls in the reining class will be seniors Rachel Currat and Katie Bohr, sophomore Jacque Roberts and freshmen Molly Tipton, Leah Kuehn, Molly Morrison and Rachell Shobe. The horsemanship class will be composed of senior Brandi Thomas, juniors LeeAnna McNally and Samantha Davidson, sophomore Jordan Pickelman and freshmen Ashley Koch, Suzanne Randolph and Kilee Stewart.
