OSU Soccer Wins Two in Lonestar Showcase

Oklahoma State's soccer team won a pair of games in the Lonestar showcase as the Cowgirls defeated Texas Tech, 3-0, and Tulsa, 1-0, in Austin, Texas.

All-American Yolanda Odenyo scored a pair of goals to lead OSU to a victory over Texas Tech. Odenyo knocked in a corner kick by Siera Strawser for her first goal. Bettina Grossmann added a goal as she blasted a shot from 40 yards out for a goal, before Odenyo capped the scoring with a goal off of a pass from Saŝa Jackson.

Grossmann scored the game's only goal as the Cowgirls defeated Tulsa. Erin Stigler played both games in goal and recorded a pair of strikeouts.

OSU continues its spring season next Saturday when it takes on the University of Central Oklahoma at 1 p.m. at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex. Admission is free to the public so come cheer on the nationally ranked Cowgirl soccer team.
