December 04, 2007 | Cowboy Cross Country & Track
The Oklahoma State men's track and field team will compete in nine events for the 2007-08 indoor season.
“The beginning of the season is light,” Weis said. “We don't put too much emphasis on those events. But once February comes around, we'll start wanting to get qualifying times.”
The Cowboys will travel to Arkansas and compete in at least three different events. They will start the season in January with back-to-back weekends at the University of Arkansas competing in the Arkansas Invitational and the Razorback Invitational.
They will kick off February competition in Norman with the J.D. Martin Invitational before going back to Arkansas for the Tyson Invitational the weekend of the 15th. The Cowboys return to OU on the 24th for the Sooner Open.
The University of Nebraska will host the Big 12 Championships the first weekend in March. The next weekend the Cowboys will either travel to South Bend and compete at the Alex Wilson or back to Arkansas for the Arkansas Last Chance.
The University of Arkansas will be the site of the NCAA Championship on the weekend of March 14th and 15th.
