Cowgirl Basketball Takes Part In Big 12 Media Day

Oklahoma State took part in the Big 12's annual women's basketball media day on Tuesday in Kansas City, site of the 2008 Big 12 Championship. Representing the Cowgirls was third-year head coach Kurt Budke, who directed the nation's largest turnaround last season on the way to the program's first NCAA Tournament berth since 1996.
Joining Budke in Kansas City was sophomore guard Andrea Riley, who was named the league's freshman of the year in 2007. The Dallas, Texas native was named an honorable mention preseason all-league pick last week, while the Cowgirls were picked fifth in the league's preseason poll.
