STILLWATER, Okla. Â— Jason Ricks' 26-yard field goal with two seconds remaining lifted Oklahoma State to a dramatic 41-39 win over 25th-ranked Kansas State Saturday night in front of 41,725 fans on Homecoming at Boone Pickens Stadium.

The Cowboys, who improved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 Conference play, marched 49 yards in 1:08 on the final scoring drive. The big play of the drive came on a 24-yard pass play from Zac Robinson to Dantrell Savage that took the ball to the Kansas State 18-yard line. Two plays later, Ricks booted the game-winning field goal.

With the win, OSU remains in a tie atop the Big 12 Conference South standings. The Cowboys, along with Oklahoma and Texas A&M, are each 3-1 in league play.

A Brandon Pettigrew 39-yard touchdown catch with 4:09 remaining gave OSU a 38-31 lead.

But K-State (4-3, 2-2) answered with an 80-yard drive, capped by an 11-yard touchdown run by Leon Patton. The Wildcats then elected to go for a two-point conversion, and Josh Freeman connected with Jordy Nelson to give the visitors a 39-38 advantage with 1:10 left on the clock.

OSU's game-winning drive began on its own 42-yard line after a 29-yard kickoff return by Tommy Devereaux. Robinson then rushed for 14 yards to move the Cowboys into K-State territory, and after a two-yard rush by Savage, Robinson and Savage hooked up on the pivotal pass play.

Robinson tied a career high with three touchdown passes and also topped 100-yards rushing for the second time this season with a 109-yard effort on the ground.

Savage finished with 124 yards and a touchdown on the ground and has now rushed for 100 yards in five consecutive games.

Freeman led the K-State attack as he was 36-of-51 passing for 404 yards and three touchdowns. Nelson racked up 12 catches for 176 yards and was on the receiving end of each of Freeman's touchdown tosses.

Kansas State led 21-7 after a 41-yard touchdown catch by Jordy Nelson early in the second quarter. But OSU's Perrish Cox returned the ensuing kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown, and a Jason Ricks' field goal with 26 seconds remaining until intermission trimmed the Cowboys' deficit to 21-17 heading into the halftime locker room.
