Cowboy Football Rolls To 45-14 Victory Over Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb.—Oklahoma State's offense rolled up more than 550 total yards on the way to just its second-ever win in Lincoln as the Cowboys knocked off Nebraska, 45-14, on Saturday afternoon.
The Cowboys scored on their first six possessions of the game to stake themselves to a 38-0 halftime lead and send them to their second victory in 22 tries in Lincoln. OSU's only other road victory against the Huskers came in 1960.
On its first drive of the game, OSU marched 50 yards with Julius Crosslin capping the possession with a one-yard run. After a 21-yard field goal by Jason Ricks, quarterback Zac Robinson connected on a 41-yard scoring strike to wide receiver Seth Newton for Newton's first career touchdown reception to extend the lead to 17-0.
Running back Kendall Hunter followed with a 33-yard touchdown run to finish off a 90-yard drive and extend the lead to 24-0 before Crosslin put another 1-yard touchdown run on the board to push the lead to 31-0.
Zac Robinson scored with 1:54 remaining in the half to put OSU out in front 38-0.
The Cowboy defense was equally impressive on the day, holding Nebraska to 101 yards and forcing a pair of turnovers in the first half. A forced fumble by Donovan Woods and an interception by sophomore Perrish Cox both led to touchdown drives for OSU.
Senior Dantrell Savage, who finished with a career-high 212 yards, scored the Cowboys' final points of the day on a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter.
