2005: Scott started all 59 games in centerfield ... one of only three players to start every game ... her .378 average currently ranks 13th on OSU's single-season list ... her 46 runs scored ranks second, while her 73 hits ranks fourth ... her 22 stolen bases is third and her 45 career stolen bases rank second all-time ... went 4-for-4 against Panhandle State with three runs scored ... had five three-hit games on the year and 21 total multi-hit games ... scored three runs in a game four times and two runs seven times ... only homerun of the year came against UMKC ... earned second team All-Big 12 honors.
2004: Only Cowgirl to start all 55 of OSU's games ... led the team with a .337 batting average ... also paced the Cowgirls with 34 runs scored and 59 hits ... had four doubles and two triples ... knocked in nine RBI ... went 23-for-29 on stolen base attempts, good enough for second all-time in the OSU single-season record books and sixth on the career charts ... finished season with .976 fielding percentage, making two errors in 84 chances ... earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors ... named to the North Texas Betlin Round-Up all-tournament team
Prep: Lettered four years at Enid High School under head coach Tom Seng ... set a school record for season batting average (.533), runs scored (59) and stolen bases (52) ... also set a state record for hits in a season (80) ... earned all-conference, all-region and all-state honors her senior season ... also played basketball and track ... earned all-state honors in track ... was the long jump state champion and also qualified for state in the 100m dash, the 4x100m relay and the 4x200m relay.
Played for the Tulsa Eagles summer league team under coach Dave Simmons ... Eagles finished eighth at the 18 & Under Gold Nationals.
Personal: Born Nov. 2, 1984 ... daughter of Darryl and Gaverne Scott ... has four sisters: Sarah (28), Tana (24), Tayoni (22) and Shaylee (11), and two brothers, Tyson (16) and Taylor (11) ... majoring in child and family services at Oklahoma State ... enjoys playing the drums, tornado chasing, playing pranks and fishing in her spare time .. favorite movie is The Sound of Music ... lists the “The Cosby Show” as her favorite television show.
