Jason Penry, who will begin January 22 as POSSE Director, served for three years as development officer for major gifts at Texas A&M University. During this time, Penry assisted in the successful completion of the Championship Vision Phase I, $50-million capital campaign for athletics. Starting in 2005, he was a member of the six-person fundraising team that raised over $35-million for Phase II of the campaign. Initially, he started at the 12th Man Foundation as the assistant membership manager for the annual fund, which includes over 23,000 members.

Penry started his career in intercollegiate athletics as a member of the LSU in Baton Rouge Sports Marketing team in 2002, where he received his master's degree. He received his bachelor's degree from LSU in Shreveport, where he earned two varsity baseball letters and served as student body president.
