Cowgirl Golfers finish ninth at Mason Rudolph Challenge

Cowgirl senior Mallorie Underwood shot an even-par 72 during Sunday's final round and finished tied for 16th with a 219 tournament total. Pernilla Lindberg remained in 27th place after carding a two-over 74. Karin Kinnerud, who was tied for 14th after Saturday's second round, finished the tournament with a 77 and dropped to 30th.
UCLA finished third, nine strokes back of the Blue Devils at 872, while Arizona (875) and Purdue (881) round out the top-five teams. Wake Forest was tied with OSU for fifth place entering the final round and Virginia was one stroke back. Those teams tied for seventh, one stroke ahead of the Cowgirls.
Senior Candy Herrera finished with 75 during Sunday's round and finished 38th individually. Sophomore Amanda Johnson rounded out the Cowgirl starters with a 46th-place finish.
