Tracey Wittwer, OSU Spirit Coordinator and Pom Coach, has been with OSU since 2000. She grew up in Arizona, teaching dance, gymnastics, cheer and tumbling at an academy in Arizona. She studied dance at the University of Arizona and was a cheerleader there. She later transferred to Baker University in Baldwin City, KS where she earned her BS in Education. She cheered there also.
She and her husband, Dan, moved to Stillwater, OK in 1981. At that time, she began to study courses in health, fitness and nutrition at OSU. She owned and managed a fitness center in Stillwater for 15 years. She continues to teach fitness classes there. She has earned numerous health/fitness certifications, including certifications from The American College of Sports Medicine. Before coming to OSU, she coached several Jr. High and High School cheer/pom squads. Now, she loves working with the OSU cheerleaders, pom pons and mascots. She and Dan have two children, Matt and Chelsea. Both are students at OSU.
