Cowboy Track Adds to Stellar Class
June 22, 2006 | Cowboy Cross Country & Track
Oklahoma State's men's track and cross country team added more young talent to the 2006 recruiting class by signing Canadien Sean Fleming, a high school senior from Regina, Saskatchewan.
Fleming captured first-place honors in the 2005 Canadian Cross Country Championships as a senior at O'Neill High School. This past April, he competed with the Canadian junior national team as a 17-year old and finished 72nd at the world championships in Fukora, Japan.
"We have been working on getting Sean here since December and we are very excited to get him," said Cowboy Assistant Coach Dave Smith. "He is one of the best cross country runners in North America and his future at OSU looks very promising."
