Kitchens Earn All-Region Honors

Oklahoma State's Lauren Kitchens continues to add to her banner year on the diamond when she was named second team All-Midwest Region as it was voted on by the regional coaches.
Kitchens, who was named first team All-Big 12, led Oklahoma State with a .336 batting average this season. She really turned it on in conference play leading the Big 12 in hitting for much of the conference season before finishing with a .417 average in Big 12 games.
Kitchens also belted four home runs and plated 17 RBIs as she came through in clutch situations all season for the Cowgirls. OSU finished its season at the Big 12 Championships with a 21-29 record.
