Timber Eaton Recovery Fund
May 11, 2006 | General
| The Phi Beta Sorority is selling t-shirts for $10, with all the proceeds also going to Timber's family. Anyone interested in purchasing a t-shirt can contact Maggie White by e-mail at or in the wrestling office at 744-4541.
Health Update (5/10/06): Great news! Timber will be leaving the hospital this Friday (5/12/06) and going home to Tuttle, OK. She is getting stronger and her wounds are healing remarkably. She will be continuing her rehab and wound care at Baptist Integris but will do it as a commuter! |
A recovery fund has been set-up to assist Timber Eaton and her family with immediate and future financial needs as she continues to battle bacterial meningitis at the Integris Baptist Hospital Intensive Care Unit in Oklahoma City. Timber Eaton is a member of the OSU Pom Squad, Phi Beta Sorority and works in the OSU Athletic Marketing offices. The fund has been established at BancFirst and deposits towards the fund can be made at any BancFirst location in Oklahoma or can be mailed. Checks should be written to the Timber Eaton Fund. Timber contracted Bacterial Meningitis while down in Mexico for Spring Break.
Her condition is improving each day but it will take many months of medical treatment to cure Timber. The costs to treat bacterial meningitis will take a financial toll on the Eaton family so your donations will help with the expenses incurred from the medications, lengthy hospital stay and rehabilitation that will be needed to rid Timber's body of the effects of this deadly disease. Timber's parents are self-employed farmers from Tuttle, OK and are in great need of financial support.
Donations can be made payable to the “Timber Eaton Fund” and may be mailed to:
