Cowgirls Garner Big 12 Honors

Lauren Kitchens was named first team All-Big 12 and Kim Kaye was named to the second team as it was announced by the conference office in preparation for the Big 12 Softball Championship in
Kitchens, a junior outfielder from
Kaye, a sophomore first baseman from
OSU also had eight players receive Academic All-Big 12 honors led by Jessica Hoppock's 4.0 GPA. Also earning first team honors were Candice Byler, Shianne Cruce, Lacy Darity, Kitchens and Ashlyn Watson. Courtney Totte and Ashleigh Tweed were each named to the second team.
