Cowgirl Golfers Selected to NCAA Regional

Oklahoma State is the No. 6 seed in the Central Regional, where six Big 12 teams will compete. Also in the field are top-ranked Duke, No. 6 USC, seventh- ranked Pepperdine and No. 16 Florida. Big 12 squads are 12th-ranked Texas A&M, Missouri, Baylor, Nebraska and Texas.
Three regional tournaments will be conducted May 11-13 to determine the championships field. Regional tournaments are considered preliminary rounds of NCAA championships competition, and all national championships policies will apply.
A total of 324 participants have been selected for the regional competition. Of these players, 126 will advance to the championships finals. Eight teams and two individuals will advance from each region.
The championships finals will be held May 23-26 at the Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio, hosted by Ohio State University.
