Oklahoma State's softball team fell behind early against Nebraska and could not recover as the Cornhuskers pulled away for a 10-0 victory in six innings at Cowgirl Stadium.
Nebraska improved to 26-6 and 2-4 in Big 12 play, while OSU dropped to 16-18 and 2-4 in conference action.
NU got on the board when Lizzy Aumua led off the game with a triple and scored on a wild pitch to put the Cornhuskers up 1-0.
The Huskers added a run in the third inning when OSU committed a pair of errors that allowed Meghan Mullin to score. Devin Porter connected on the first of two home runs in the fourth inning as NU began to pull away.
Nebraska scored five runs in the sixth inning to put the game away and go up 10-0. The Cowgirls went quietly in the bootom of the sixth as Ashleigh Tweed grounded out to end the game.
Oklahoma State and Nebraska will conclude the series tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium.
