Cowgirls Finish Season with Loss at Texas, 3-0

OSU starter Jessica Hoppock settled down after the first to retire 18 of the next 20 hitters. She did not allow a hit after the first inning. Three runs were too much for the Cowgirls to overcome off of
OSU stranded two runners in both the second and fourth innings and could not come up with any clutch hits.
Kim Kaye broke up the no-hit bid in the sixth when she beat out an infield single. Shianne Cruce followed with a solid single to center, but Kaye was picked off second and Lauren Kitchens struck out to end the threat. It was the third inning of the game OSU had as many as two base runners but failed to score.
OSU's 10 hits and walks in the two-game series is the most that Osterman has allowed in consecutive outings this season.
