Severe Weather Forces Cancellation of Missouri Southern Meet

Oklahoma State's men's track team was scheduled to compete at Missouri Southern State's Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational on Friday however the meet was cancelled due to severe weather and the continuing threat of storm systems in the Joplin, Mo. area.

Meet officials cancelled the meet when heavy rain and lightning moved in the area earlier in the day. The event will not be rescheduled.

The Cowboy Track team will now have a two-week break before they compete in the Big 12 Conference Meet on May 12-14. The meet will be hosted by Baylor in Waco, Texas.
