OSU's Lindberg finishes sixth individually at Bryan National Collegiate

Lindberg was consistent throughout the tournament, carding a 75-71-73 and finishing just six strokes behind the individual champion. It was Lindberg's second top-10 finish of the season.
Fellow freshman Karin Kinnerud recorded a four-over 76 and finished 30th individually. Senior Jennifer Karr carded a 75 and finished 49th. Juniors Mallorie Underwood and Candie Herrera finished 58th and 65th, respectively.
Sixth-ranked Georgia won the team title by five strokes over top-ranked Duke. The Bulldogs were led by Taylor Leon, who won the individual title with a three-under 213 for the tournament. She won by three strokes over Duke's Amanda Blumenhurst who finished at even-par 216.
Eighth-ranked Purdue finished third, followed by Tennessee and Wake Forest. Florida finished sixth with a 900, while South Carolina finished seventh, one stroke ahead of Oklahoma State.
The Cowgirls return to action next in one week when OSU travels to Norman, Okla., to compete in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, April 9-10.
