Cowboys to Compete at Stanford Invitational

Oklahoma State's men's track team will travel to Palo Alto, Calif., this weekend to compete in the 32nd Stanford Track and Field Invitational.

The Cowboys are coming off a strong performance at last weekend's Tulsa Duels where senior Sean McCabe and junior Ryan Ripley set personal records in the 800-meter run. McCabe finished third with a time of 1:52.82 and Ripley finished fourth with a time of 1:53.80.

McCabe and Ripley will be joined this weekend by juniors David Jankowski and Joseph Gray as well as sophomore Ryan Vail. Two freshmen, Peter Doroshuk and Daniel Watts, will also be competing.

The meet is set to kick off Friday at 8:30 a.m. at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field.
