Equestrian to Compete in Regional Championship

The championships are an individual competition where the top three riders in each class will advance to the Zone 7 Championships in Stillwater, Okla., on April 9. The riders qualified for the regional championships by accumulating points throughout the year. The competition will feature both Hunt seat and Western riders. Oklahoma State will send 22 riders to College Station, Texas, this weekend.
The team championships were decided by a season-long cumulative point total. Oklahoma State's Hunt seat team won their regional point total and will next compete at the Zone 7 Championships. The Western team was beaten out by Texas A&M during the regular season.
