Cowgirls finish fourth at Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

Top-ranked Duke finished wiht the best round of the day and won the team title with a three-day score of 907. The Texas A&M Aggies, led by individual runnerup Ashley Knoll, finished second at 916. Eighth-ranked Purdue was third with a 926, while the Cowgirls carded a 933 for fourth place. TCU rounded out the top-five teams with a 940.
Cowgirl junior Candie Herrera finished 15th individually with a 233, while freshman Karin Kinnerud finished 22nd with a 236. Junior Mallorie Underwood finished 62nd with a 246, while senior Jennifer Karr finished 68th with a 249. Freshman Amanda Johnson, who was playing as an individual, finished 46th.
The Cowgirls will next compete in the Bryan National Collegiate, Mar. 31-Apr. 2, in Greensboro, N.C.
