Cowgirls Set to Compete in Lady Rebel Classic

Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will head to Las Vegas this weekend to compete at the fifth annual Lady Rebel Classic hosted by UNLV at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

In the first round of the tournament, the Cowgirls (3-1) will face UC-Santa Barbara on Friday at 2 p.m PST. The Gauchos (4-3) are coming off a 4-3 loss to conference rival Cal Poly. The Cowgirls are 3-0 all time against UCSB.

The field will also include No. 37 UNLV, No. 73 Boise State, No. 47 Fresno State, Northern Arizona, Loyola Marymount and Montana.

Oklahoma State went 1-1 last weekend after losing to No. 38 New Mexico, 5-2, and beating New Mexico State, 4-1. Head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski also picked up his 230 career win against NMSU.
