Equestrian Set to Host Pair of Western Shows

Oklahoma State's equestrian team will host a pair of western shows Friday and Saturday at the Animal Science Arena in Stillwater, Okla.

“We would like to capitalize on being at home and try to create some spread between Texas A&M and ourselves,” said head coach Larry Sanchez. “The last two shows are at Texas A&M so we want to try to get a lead before we go down there.”

Texas A&M currently holds a one point lead over the Cowgirls in the region. The teams split a pair of shows during the opening weekend, November 5-6, in Stillwater.

“It is difficult to host a show,” said Sanchez. “There is a lot of work to do, as far as getting everything ready, but I think our girls will be prepared for the challenge.”

The competition will begin at 9 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
