OSU Easton Classic Canceled

Creighton, Wisconsin and Texas-San Antonio were all scheduled to participate in the tournament. Texas-San Antonio will still make the trip and will play a double header against Oklahoma State beginning at 3 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium.
UTSA currently holds a 4-1 record. The Roadrunners will play a double header today against Texas A&M before coming to Stillwater for two games.
UTSA opened at the Las Cruces Hilton Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M. The Roadrunners won three of their four games by run rule. The lone loss was a 3-2 setback against Tourney host New Mexico State.
OSU opens the season at home after struggling to a 1-4 record at the Campbell/Cartier Classic in San Diego, Calif. Shanel Scott set OSU's all-time steals mark by stealing three bases over the weekend. The junior out of Enid now has 48 career stolen bases. The Cowgirls also got solid pitching from junior transfer Chelsey Barclay who went 1-1 with a 1.79 ERA in the tournament.
The Cowgirls are 6-0 all-time against Texas-San Antonio. OSU won the last meeting, 6-1, to open up the 2002 season.
