Cowgirls Lose to UC-Santa Barbara, 7-2

The Cowgirls went 1-4 in the tournament suffering from poor defensive play. OSU committed six errors against UC-Santa Barbara, which led to three unearned runs. The Cowgirls committed 14 errors in the five-game tournament.
Chelsey Barclay took the loss allowing three runs, none earned, over three innings. It was Barclay's first loss as she fell to 1-1 on the year.
Courtney Totte provided the offense for the Cowgirls going 2-for-3 and driving in both OSU runs with RBI doubles in the third and fifth innings.
The Gauchos plated four insurance runs in the fifth inning before finishing off the Cowgirls in the sixth and the seventh. OSU had base runners in both frames, but failed to bring anybody around to score.
