Cowgirls Defeat Texas Wesleyan in Fall Classic

Oklahoma State's softball team closed out the OSU Fall Classic with a 3-1 victory over Texas Wesleyan on Saturday night at Cowgirl Stadium.

The Cowgirls scored two runs in the third inning without the courtesy of a hit. Samantha Heinlein was hit by a pitch that forced in a run and Jenna Harmison walked to score another run.

The Cowgirls added a single run in the fifth inning to ahead by three.

Jessica Hoppock struck out 10 hitters and allowed just one unearned run on three hits. Hoppock held Wesleyan in check until the seventh inning when it took advantage of a Cowgirl error to plate its only run.

Oklahoma State hosts Seminole State on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium.
