J.R. Lake enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the OSU track and cross country team after graduating from OSU in 2005.

While a Cowboy, Lake was a member of the cross country and track teams. In the 2001-2002 season, J.R. was first-team Academic All-Big 12 as well as being named an Academic All-American.

J.R., a native of Sapulpa, Okla., graduated from Oklahoma State with a major in International Business and a minor in Spanish.
