Cowgirl Softball Drops Two at Spring Klein Classic

Oklahoma State's softball team lost a pair of games at the Spring Klein Classic in Spring Klein, Texas on Saturday morning.
The Cowgirls fell 4-1 to Nicholls State in the early contest. Anna Whiddon got the start on the mound and allowed two home runs. The Cowgirls could only muster one run on two hits on offense.
OSU came back and fell 5-1 to Texas State. Chelsey Barclay started in the circle for the Cowgirls and struck out six Bobcat hitters, but she couldn't hold down the TSU offense as it scratched out five runs. The Cowgirls again could not getting anything going at the plate as they managed just one run on three hits.
The Cowgirls play Texas-San Antonio tonight at 5 p.m., before concluding the two-day event tomorrow against New Mexico State at 9 a.m.
