Kyle Keller

A student assistant coach at OSU in 1990, he returned to Stillwater in 1999 after spending several years coaching at Division I schools and junior colleges in the region.
Keller has been a part of 11 teams that have competed in postseason play. He most recently served a two-year stint as head coach at Tyler Junior College (1997-99), leading Tyler to the Region XIV Playoffs both seasons. Thirteen of his players at Tyler received Division I scholarships  four to Big 12 schools.
Previously, he served as assistant coach for Tim Carter at Texas-San Antonio (1996-97). He enjoyed a successful two-year run as an assistant at Tyler JC (1994-96), highlighted by a sixth-place national finish in 1995 after winning the conference championship and the Region XIV title.
Before his stints at Tyler and Texas-San Antonio, Keller spent four years (1990-94) at Louisiana Tech, where he coached two future NBA players, P.J. Brown of the Charlotte Hornets and Ron Ellis of the Phoenix Suns. The Bulldogs were in the midst of a stretch of 10-straight seasons of postseason play, highlighted by a 25-win season and first-round loss to Wake Forest in the 1992 NCAA Tournament.
Keller has had ties to OSU all his life; when he earned a bachelor's degree in business management from OSU in 1990, he became one of six family members that have graduated from OSU. Keller completed his master's degree in human relations and supervision from Louisiana Tech in 1991.
Keller is married to the former Chaunsea Olin. A native of Liberal, Kan., she is also an Oklahoma State graduate.
