Cowgirls begin fall season this weekend

"I'm excited to get the fall season going," said coach Margaret Rebenar. "I can't wait to see the newcomers in action along with our returners. I'm really looking forward to this weekend."
The Cowgirls will begin the day's competition by playing Seminole Junior College at 9 a.m. before returning to the field for a 5 p.m. game against Grayson Community College and then a 7 p.m. game against Eastern Oklahoma Junior College.
During the Cowgirls' six-hour break, Eastern, Grayson and Seminole will play games against each other.
The Fall Cowgirl Classic is the beginning of a two-week fall season, which ends with a second tournament hosted by the Cowgirls.
On Sept. 24, the OSU Cowgirl Fall Invitational will start at 9 a.m. with the Cowgirls playing Western Oklahoma State College. Following the game, there will be a meet-and-greet with the players, who will be on hand to sign autographs.
