Cowgirl Golfers finish 11th at Mason Rudolph

Duke, led by Amanda Blumenherst's individual medalist honors, took the team title with a three-stroke victory over second-place Georgia. Arkansas had a solid third round and finished third, while top-ranked UCLA finished fourth and Auburn fifth. Vanderbilt, which led after two rounds, shot a 316 as a team the final round and finished eighth.
Cowgirl junior Candie Herrera had a good day Sunday, carding a 75 and moving from 52nd to 35th place. Freshman Karin Kinnerud recorded the same score and moved up 23 places to 40th. Junior Mallorie Underwood finished with a 235, while freshman Amanda Johnson rounded out the OSU golfers with a 244.
Oklahoma State will return to action October 7 when the Cowgirls compete in the Franklin Street Trust Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C.
