Cowgirls to play in Oklahoma Shootout

The Cowgirls will play the University Central Oklahoma at 9 a.m., followed by Northen Oklahoma College at 1 p.m. OSU will play a third game at 5:30 p.m., but the opponent has not been determined as of early Friday afternoon.
“It is a good opportunity for us to be in a tournament situation, and it's great exposure for us and all of the Oklahoma teams that are competing,” said coach Margaret Rebenar.
For the newcomers, it marks the first time they get to play away from Cowgirl Stadium, and Rebenar said it could not come at a better place.
“It's super nice to be playing in Hall of Fame Stadium where the College World Series is held each year,” Rebenar said.
The Cowgirls will return home Tuesday to face NOC at 3 p.m. and then play Connors State on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Tuesday's game was originally scheduled for 4:30 p.m., while Wednesday's was slated for 3:30 p.m.
