Cowgirl Standout Invited to NCAA Individual Championships

“We are all very proud of the work that Iryna has done to get invited to the national tournament,” said head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski. “She is a tough competitor and is going to win. I believe that she will be very successful.”
Tkachenko, ranked No. 72 in the most recent ITA polls, was invited as the fourth individual out of the Central Region. During the 2005 campaign, she tallied a 17-6 dual record for the Cowgirls at the top singles position.
