Membership Benefits

POSSE membership is automatically granted to all donors who give $120 or more annually to OSU Athletics. Currently, more than 6,500 individuals and business organizations are active members of the POSSE.
HOW TO JOIN
To become a member of the POSSE, call toll-free 877-2B-POSSE between 8 am and 5 pm Monday-Friday, or use the membership pledge form included in this handbook. You can also join online. Simply visit okstate.com and click on "POSSE."
THE POSSE YEAR
In the past, POSSE members earned points for donations received from Dec. 1 through Nov. 30 each year. The POSSE year is now alligned with the OSU fiscal year: July 1 – June 30. POSSE members earn Priority Points for gifts made between July 1 and June 30 of each year.
Aligning the POSSE year with the fiscal year allows the Athletic Department to more efficiently plan for seat allocations for football and parking for football, men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling. For the 2005-06 sports season, donor levels will be based on gifts made from July 1, 2004 – June 30, 2005.
Because we have adjusted the POSSE giving year, it is important to note the deadlines for ticket renewals, donor seating payments and parking donations.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
Season ticket renewals, payments for donor seating and donations for parking must be received by the deadlines listed above.
Football season ticket renewals are due May 1, along with payment for donor seating. Additional donations to improve parking can be made until June 30. Donations made by June 30 will count toward parking benefits for all sports.
For men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling, all donor seating payments and donations to improve parking are due by June 30 prior to the sports season. Failure to pay donor seating by these dates could result in loss or reallocation of donor seating and parking. Example: donor seating for wrestling must be paid in full by June 30, 2005, to secure donor seats for the 2005-06 wrestling season.
ANNUAL GIVING
POSSE donor levels are based on giving totals during the POSSE year (July 1 - June 30). These donations will be used to determine benefits for the subsequent sports season(s) and for the calculation of POSSE Priority Points. Annual giving to OSU Athletics has grown steadily in recent years. The POSSE's goal is to reach $9 million annually by 2007.
Benefits are based on the donor's total annual gifts and/or season ticket purchases. To qualify for POSSE parking, donors must be a season ticket holder in that particular sport and maintain the required annual giving level.
