GOING, GOING ... OSU AUCTION THIS WEEKEND!
April 12, 2005 | General
No, it's the annual OSU Dinner and Benefit Auction.
Literally hundreds of items are up for bid this weekend at the POSSE's annual fundraiser in Tulsa. The star-studded event will be held this Saturday, June 7, at the Fairgrounds Pavilion. The dinner and silent auction begin when doors open at 6:00 pm, with the live auction kicking off at 7:30.
(Oklahoma City's version of the auction is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.)
OSU fans will be joined by coaches and Athletic Department staff, along with numerous Cowboy and Cowgirl student-athletes, past and present. Items to be auctioned off include O-State and professional sports memorabilia, unique OSU clothing and crafts, golf at Oklahoma's premier courses, condo stays in Florida and Colorado, home improvement items and much more. All proceeds from the orange-flavored event will benefit the POSSE's Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund. A table for eight costs $650, while individual tickets are $75. Donations are tax-deductible and count toward POSSE Priority Points and annual giving totals for parking and other POSSE benefits.
