Cowgirls Prepared for Bedlam Showdown

Oklahoma State looks to pull even in the Bedlam series when the women's tennis team takes on No. 69 Oklahoma at the DeBois Tennis Center in Stillwater at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

“This is going to be a very even match,” said head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski. “If the girls fight hard and play as well as we have in some of our other conference matches, we have a good chance to win.”

The Cowgirls (6-12, 2-5) lead the all-time series against their instate rival, 26-12. OSU has won two of the last three meetings between the two schools.

OSU looks to build off the momentum of its 6-1 victory over Boston College on Sunday.

“Our girls really want to win this match,” Lubicz-Majewski said. “I know that our team is going to play hard and try to get the victory for our school.”

The match against OU (12-8, 2-4) marks the first of four conference matches for the Cowgirls to close out the 2005 regular season.
